Smokey Robinson and his band with the BBC Concert Orchestra are appearing on the forthcoming "Electric Proms" from the Roundhouse.
Smokey's concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on Saturday 24th October 8pm, the following evening Sunday 25 October 11pm the concert will be shown on BBC2 TV, then in the following week it will be available by the red button on constant loop.

I have just been informed that Tony Thompson has died of a heart attack. Tony was probably best known for being the owner of 'Memory Lane' Record shop when it was in Derngate, and then in Bridge Street. Tony was also a superb DJ working at places like the Birds Nest, Opus 2, and was resident at The Freewheeler in Kettering for over 10 years. Tony had in more recent times DJ'ed for me at the Park Inn on a number of occasions.
